I've wanted to have a blog for a year now. Not that I have much to say. Okay. I actually do have lots to say. My friends and co-workers would agree. Since grade school my report cards all had the same comments. "Jessica is very social" and "Jessica is very talkative" a lot of this too, "She might do better in school if she concentrated more on studying and less talking."
My boss calls me an extrovert. In my defense, I work with a bunch of software developers. Not exactly the social interactive standard. I will get emails and instant messages from people at the next cube. I am the only one who will venture to someones desk for a simple question. There are people who talk to me on IM, that I have never spoken to face-to-face.
Why am I here? These guys NEED me. I push their social comfort level on a daily basis. Plus, I have a candy dish on my desk that they love.
